I love to drive the highways, the skyways
Just to get lost
I pass so many places
But won’t brake cos I can’t break your heart

Driving ‘till dawn
Call you from the station
Leaving you a message that I’m gone
I’m gone

Seasons change so fast
They don’t last
And the leaves always fall
Today is a new day
And there’s a clear way
And the road is long

Driving ‘till dawn
Call you from the station
Leaving you a message that I’m gone
I’m gone

I’m keeping on

Driving ‘till dawn
Call you from the station
Leaving you a message that I’m gone
I’m gone

Accompanied with Chris Isaaks band
Very strange, this was on just 14 hours ago.  Good hearing it a second time though.
Bill/Alanna, please add more songs from this band to RP, if possible! Mainly this one
Lovely, hypnotic vocals.

I love British insults so much more than our American "F you a-hole."  It sounds so much more intellectual.

frankly, I doubt that the substitution is likely to improve their prospects....

Nice...thanks for the new vocab word!  I usually refer to trolls like this as "eunuchs".   Another great RP find, in my book.
I like it, I like it a lot!

Came here to say just that... And maybe reiterate the 'dreamy' comments elsewhere!
Love the guitar and voice.
Awesome haunting voice, great bass line
Today, they have a concert here in Ljubljana and im going for the second time.

Missing the reference? This track would be perfectly at home in a David Lynch production (clip above from Twin Peaks, one of the Kyle McLaughlin's "damn good pie" moments, IIRC).

This is exactly the thing about RP. You will hear more new (to you) music on RP in an hour that you will in a month - or a year - on any other station.

Her voice is silky smooth and enchanting -- haunting, even, and that amazing, clear guitar and bass weave their spell on me, too. It's really a fantastic, hypnotic song!

Great duo, bumped it up to a nine, one of yhe many reasons why i have given up on commercial radio, not hearing great music like this
Great! Never heard of them before. ...Thanx RP!
There's SO much underrated, unexposed music out there... I LOVE RP!
Smooth
Very nice. Sounds a lot like Viva Voce on their 2011 album The Future Will Destroy You. I highly recommend that one.
Every time I hear this track I like it more.
Refressing!
The entire album sounds like something out of a smooth North Dakota summer - that's a nice thing btw.

A bit Chris Isaac guitar. Dreamy.
This has a nice Chromatics with Johnny Jewel feel.

Logged in to just to like that comment.
Dreamy vocals, cool guitar.
Who could ask for more?!
I thought for a second it was Mazzy Star, but no. Still pretty good.

I ALWAYS think this is Lana Del Ray and every time I look and see it's someone else I remember the last time it happened and wonder "when will I learn?"

That's hilarious! Thanks for that image now stuck in my head.
Chrissy Isaak?
Electric Lush
These guys have gotten under my skin the last few years.  Caught 'em live at a club show in Kingston, NY and they were really fun live.  (Met Tessa!  She was a doll!)  Glad they're getting some play on RP.

I like this band more and more. Check out 2 other songs even better than this one : The Trip, and Black Lagoon
Leave Lana alone. This is WAY better!
The vocals are very reminiscent of Lana Del Rey. I like.
Lana Del Ray sounds like this... I think this band was first. Lana just beat them with her luscious lips!
I like it but have to agree that it sure sounds alot like Lana
This starts a little flimsy, but it's pleasant as it grows.  Nice mellow vibe.
Love it. So rare to hear something so groovy these days.
As previous comment. Lana?
Lana?
I hear a bit of Margo Timmins vocal style in there.
Nice.  8  might be a bit high... but hell, it's a good day.  We'll go with 8.
This reminds me of how much I love The Raveonettes.
