The Proms will be runing if you like your classical music. The atmosphere is great, especially if you queue up and get standing tickets (£5, all on the door).

Sorted.
I wouldn't recommend getting any closer to the UK than Whangarei for a month or two, if you know what's good for you, old fruit.

I live in London! There is a big 3 day festival in hyde park with Neil Young, The Killers etc www.hardrockcalling.co.uk. The 27th is also open day at Wimbledon. You can line up (English queues are very orderly - you get a number and sit on the grass eating bacon sandwiches) for tickets and get a ground pass (courts 2-19) for the day or if you go really early maybe get onto centre court! It is a lovely time of year to be in London - I hope you have a good time!

Not too sure about London - don't get there too often these days, but Time Out should cover most things. Don't forget that we're only a small country so don't worry about travelling a little.

Hi, Have a great time! Good places to check for events are Time Out magazine or the BBC London website... You can also pick up cheap deals on events at LastMinute.com. A quick web search turned up efestivals.co.uk which looks potentially helpful... Dave
