Anyone else watching the Doctor Who world-wide simulcast?

I am a late starter in Dr Who.  Only started watching in '64.  Lost track for a while when I moved to the States then rediscovered it in the mid 70's with Tom Baker. Rediscovered it again about 6 months ago. I now have watched every episode since it was reinvented in reruns with my ten year old son.  He loves it.  I loved the old shows even though they were pretty hokey.  The B&W ones scared the hell out of me but I was pretty young.   The new ones are great!  Probably the best SciFi out there.Can't wait to see part 2.  I think we can see why Nixon erased some of his tapes!

Just watched the first part of 'The Impossible Astronaut'  - bloody amazing! Haven't got a clue what's going (that's a +). I don't suppose the 'traditionalists' are going to like it.... but hey ho!

This thread made me think of the Dr. Who story line that scared me to death, and even in retrospect, it IS almost a full horror one.... Had to look for it, and found it!

I agree David Tennat was great.  It's took me a while to warm up to Matt Smith but his version of the Doctor is growing on me - and Billie Piper (I meant to say Karen Gillan) helps things along!
