It's a great series—at least the first season. Haven't watched the second yet. This is the American version with Elijah Wood.

If interested in bat$h*t crazy dramadies, check out "Everything Everywhere All At Once." Mind-blowing fun. If you can recognize Jamie Lee Curtis in the trailer, you're a better man than me.

The Completely Made Up Adevntures of Dick Turpin  - Half hour comedy. British humour sensibility. Silly and funny.
Our Flag Means Death - Half hour comedy starring Murray from Flight of the Conchords. A wonderful tale of pirates and love. Great cast, including Leslie Jones as a Pirate Queen.
Midnight Gospel - half hour animated series for adults with wild visuals and deep discussions about philosophy.
Blue Eye Samurai - Stunning hour-long episodes in this animated series for adults about a female samurai in disguise and on a mission to kill the 4 white men who were in Japan when she was conceived. Set in the 1600s.
Loot - half hour comdey/drama starring Maya Rudolph about a tech billionaire's wife after the divorce. Funny and sweet.

The 28-minute long Bluey episode was quite good but I think it shows that the short format is really better for character development and story arc than a potential movie would be. The amount of child and adult stuff they can fit into a 7-minute episode is pretty great.

My granddaughter has been watching this since it came out.
I'm sure she's seen everyone at least 10 times each now.
My wife and I get caught up in them frequently.

"The Gentlemen" on Netflix. Eight episode series directed by Guy Ritchie. Dark comedy about a resourceful man who unexpectedly inherits the title of Duke, a 15,000-acre estate and some powerful business associates working in the shadows. A stately but tight burn.

"Monsieur Spade" on Amazon Prime. Clive Owen as Sam Spade, retired and living peacefully in a small town in southern France. Murder and the aftermath of France's occupation of Algeria break the tranquility with a host of dubious types showing up...The solution to the mysteries is a let-down but it's a lot of fun to watch Owen mumbling with an American accent and absolutely butchering French.

You have to have Amazon Prime to get it.
After playing three different variants of this game... it is awesome to see a live version of it.
It is quite graphic with the violent parts... but the wife is even hooked on this "mini- series". Which is rare for her.
The unique/ quirky characters in it mimic the ones from the game,
And the music in it is spot on.
Highly recommended.

Just binged Daisy Jones and The Six.  Interesting. But a lot of story gaps that should have been filled over that many episodes. Worth the time to watch though.

First: it has Andrew Scott, so I’m in. His recent Hamlet made me weep with its beauty.

Second: this is a repeatedly remade concept from a book. You might’ve seen the movie with Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Matt Damon. It’s a very good concept.
Third: the author of the novel has a…complex…personal story including being chronically drunk, sexually hyperactive (calling her next lover from the bed of her current one), and blatantly severely anti-Semitic (disappointed in the “semicaust” because it “only” killed six million Jews).

I’m totally surprised that the last little bit of info hasn’t gotten her work cancelled, really.

Fourth: this production is beautifully directed with amazing cinematography. We’re totally enjoying it, about three episodes in.
