I've been down and
I'm wondering why
These little black clouds
Keep walking around
With me
With me

It wastes time
And I'd rather be high
Think I'll walk me outside
And buy a rainbow smile
But be free
They're all free

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home

I look around at a beautiful life
Been the upperside of down
Been the inside of out
But we breathe
We breathe

I wanna breeze and an open mind
I wanna swim in the ocean
Wanna take my time for me
All me

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home

So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home
So maybe tomorrow
I'll find my way home

Um... HARDLY!!! Did you not read the RP write up? Or, click on wiki link? RP can only play what is agreed to between RP and the artist. That's likely why we don't hear much else from Stereophonics. Bill would be able to clarify further, should you wish to know more about the "process" of music/song selection.

Ditto, here! But, picture HCN or, ANY CT station playing it! And, can't count on CCC anymore as, they're all Christian music now! From down by the shoreline, peace! LLRP!!!

Love it!

i always forget about this one.
so good. thanks for playing it again.
Why is Bill Clinton singing on RP?
This day, at this moment, this song perfectly captures my mood!  It felt like an old friend, and I had to look and see who was doing it - have never bought a record by them, but today I am, and bumping my rating from 8 to 9!
I'm not a particular fan of Stereophonics, but a friend (and a certain amount of nudging by Radio Paradise) convinced me to see them live. Surprisingly, it was one of the best concerts I attended in a couple of years! So I guess I have to thank you for playing it...
A great tone of gravel and cigars!! Someone pass the port ... any port in a storm ... nuf sed
Good start to the day.
Dancing through the gloom.  Sadness of the past and present with the lyrics,   the hope and optimism, coming from the music's beat and  sound,  for the future, ending with the slowness and uncertainty that the optimism will prevail.
Yes sir!
This band reminds me of Bill Clinton.

Shout out to the littlest hobo!
A really melodic tune from 2003, almost forgot how  good it sounds
P O W E R F U L !

my rating 10
Whenever I hear this tune, I think about the process they went through in recording it, particularly the decision to include a repetitious backing vocal motif throughout. It seems a risky kind of thing that could ruin a good song, yet here it's so effective in making it even more special. I wonder if there was some debate about it, or if they knew they nailed it.
Brilliant band  and  another I've never heard of .. thanks RP

Before you sing you should clear your voice.

Don't know that I've seen "brilliantly oppressive" as a descriptor before.  Has my curiosity up!

I could have replied to several recent comments and picked this one because ultimately it's a similar message to mine; great groove on this track and I really should check out the entire album.  Based on the title of the album (You Gotta Go There to Come Back) and of this track, it's a theme I'm fond of; heck with it....I'm bumping my 8 to a 9!  PEACE and Long Live RP!!
And the heatwhelming accompaniment for the conclusion of a most fantastic film - Crash.

Local PBS played this track over stock footage of people having fun in Orange County, CA; just before I would sit down with my Mom and her parents on my lunch breaks to watch Huell Howser. A silly reason to vote up a song... but this track is one of my touchstones to before my grandparents passed away - so I'll always thank Bill for spinning it here. :,-)

Well put.  This cut is awesome — I love it.  I heard the 1st 3 notes and knew it straight off.  Earlier today, RP laid down some Morning Jackets and now this; these bands are really fantasitico, yet have somehow missed the mainstream.  RP saves the day...again.
One of my absolute favorites; one of the reasons I keep coming back to this station.
Quiet night under the stars.  This song just helps the night be better.
Anyone else hear the pigeons?

Agreed.  I used to like it, but am burned out on this.
This entire album is strong. Got turned on to Stereophonics when they opened for Bowie in Scranton, PA, on his last tour in 2004. They were even better live!
Too overplayed. {#Zip-lip}
Love, love, love this album

Really like this song.  Thank you RP

Upped it from 7 >>> 8  {#Music}
This one grew on me. 6 to 8.
I'm still pissed that they used that picture of me and dad for the cover, but I do LOVE the song!

Takes my mind back to those 3 months in Monte Amiata, Tuscany. Brunello, nightly! Stereophonics all over the Roma radio stations...
{#Music}
Lindaaaaa!!!
I love everything about this song. I love the vocals, the melancholy -- yet not sad -- way it makes me feel, and the lyrics. I like the way it fades out at the end. I love that it's a good pop song with a little angst and wistfulness on the side.

I turn it up every time.

The last time I heard this set (The The followed by Stereophonics) it was hard to listen to- two songs intimately linked to exes.

Now it raises a smile.

I may be better.
Excellent ear candy {#Good-vibes}

Me too, I'm sober.
This is an excellent song.
7 -> 8
Well, I'm stone cold sober this morning, and I love it, too.

The segue from The The?  "This could be the day my life will surely change" moves into "maybe tomorrow I'll find my way home".
Ok, I'm drunk rating. But I love this song.

yes, it has that 70's melody and vibe to it.
This is daft. First The The, a song I'll always associate with an ex, and now this, a song for another ex. I dread to think what Bill will play next...

Is there a pattern here?
Always a 10 for me. Makes me sway...
Great CD.  Found them after seeing the movie.
Still a 9, only because one day I may love this even more than I do now, and I gotta leave a little wiggle room.
Just saw Crash again last night. Love this song!

Ha, that's funny, I think Kelly Jones' voice is one of the better rock-and-roll voices out there.
Excellent track!
Great band , cool song
I love the old Philly soul vibe.
Warm, so very very warm like a musical hug.
Started listening to Stereophonics thanks to this song and RP, thanks alot =)
Just gave the song a 5 - sorry, is an 8 instead!

I´m with you there. Always thought I would like them more if I were younger and more superficial. But, given I am wise, older and deep and complex and all, I think of them as simply showing up on my "amusing" radar. This one hits the spot, though. Yours humbly.

Yeah Brol,I second that!😜

"Jesus Quincy Adams!"

I love it.  Can I borrow that?

I've been thinking of this song a lot lately. Not sure why. Suits my mood though.
Is it me, or is there someone moaning constantly throughout this song.  Jesus Quincy Adams!  Barfo.
8 ==> 9  His voice fits the lyrics - ever yearning, but never satisfied.  "Maybe tomorrow I'll find my way home."  Then the guitar solo slides in to echo the same mood, with the fuzz tone like the raspiness of his voice .  Excellent music!
Love this song, but the movie "Crash" is not a happy vision for the start of a day. That's the cheeriest movie since "Midnight Cowboy."

Reminds me of the movie Crash

Good to know that my musical antithesis is in full operation!

Reminiscent of Audioslave, like a softer version of that.
7 ==> 8  Good music.  Good lyrics, and the mystique of something he can't have (finding his way home), but he keeps trying.
this is AWESOME!!
Nice!
I think the expression for this is 'stone groove'?

Electric mist with a solid groove....cool.

One of the best songs I had never heard before RP came along.

Nice post.

There's something about this song...

I wrote about this a couple of years ago, and although a lot of songs don't really do that, this took me straight back to where I was. In a push-the-chair-back-close-your-eyes-and-you're-there kind of way.

I still don't really care for Stereophonics. But I still wish I were back in Lipari.

Speaking of Rod Stewart...they covered "Handbags and Gladrags", the song also done by Stewart. (This song also happens to be the theme song for the British version of "The Office".)

groovy tune but every time I hear it I think Rod Stewart, anybody else hear it?
This is groovy man....
