Oh, baby, do it again and again
I can hear nothing
Windswept is the sand

Oh, baby, oh show me more
I can see nothing
Windswept is the shore

Heatwave to nightshade
Oh I'm feeling swept away

Oh I'm
Oh I'm swept away
Oh I'm

Oh, baby, don't leave me there
With a low whisper
Windswept in the air

You say it's nothing
But a game to play
Oh I'm feeling swept away

Slow, baby, you can take your time
I can hear nothing
Windswept is the tide

A feeling only or a state of mind
Gonna take me high, mama
Mama, take me high

Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away
Oh, baby
Oh I'm swept away

Since Roy Orbison passed away, we have 2 excellent crooners remaining:  Brian Ferry & Chris Isaak! Different styles, but, both great!
Great Tune!! I have liked him since the 1st Roxy Music album came out! ...Do The Strand!!
Roxy Music earlier, Bryan Ferry now. Thanks for that, Bill and Rebecca! (not sarcasm)
This guy should have made babies with Sade, would have been some smoooth kids

I really enjoyed Babylon Berlin!! Now I will have to watch it again and look for B. Ferry!

Put on a loop and take me away!
An absolute classic album...if you heard this in my college apartment, then it was that time of the evening...!

I believe this is David Gilmour on lead guitar. Great tune.

Yes. Gilmour played on this record, "Bete Noire", "olympia" and the single Ferry did for an 80s movie "Is Your Love Strong Enough?"
One of the Gentlemen of Rock & Roll, along with Robert Palmer. Ian Anderson exemplifies the Country Gentlemen factor (imho), at least during the Songs from the Wood and Heavy Horses period, as does Lyle Lovett.

Bryan is best when combined with Brian

If you're referring to Brian Eno, that was a relatively short period of time; they apparently didn't get along very well.
gotta be david sanborn on the sax...or a sax player that loved sanborn...
I believe this is David Gilmour on lead guitar. Great tune.
Bryan is best when combined with Brian
One of my favourites from the smooth chap.
Great effort. My favorite BF solo work.
love it or leave it {#Daisy}
Brilliant album! Almost as good as Bete Noir.

This is truly terrible.
An underappreciated song.  Even by me.  I actually didn't hear it much when it came out but heard it a few years ago and really liked it.
Is that Ashton Kutcher on the cover?

ya either love him or hate him...personally love the suave style for late nights in by the fire!
I wouldn't say that - my attitude to Bryan Ferry has usually been one of studied indifference. Much of his and Roxy Music's output is aural Mogadon, and goes in one ear and out the other leaving little trace of its passing. This effort is no exception.

I agree 100%
Remember all those great sax tunes from the 80s? Yeah, me neither.

Ugh, such endless claptrap...
Good God make it stop!!!!
He's so smooth...
Great sexy 80's music.
Ok really sounded like something else but this is fun Think it sounded like "slave to love"
I started singing Avalon before I realised this wasn't that song Now I know why I was so confused...
