My college roommate and musical expert Greg is about to host another Night at the Record Store for his place in Austin.
Tune in! Starts in about ten minutes, and usually runs about a half hour. If you see something you like (and how could you not) then you can drop him a message and he ships.
Sitting in my office waiting for all the updates to be applied to my computer that hasn't been turned on in a month. Had to install an application on my other computer to work from home - so of course I had to go into the office to install it.
Just finished sitting outside playing guitar & singing with the missus for a couple of hours, now heading out to pick up burgers at my favorite local burger joint, Park Burger Platt Park, Denver.
Wow, we used to live right there (1700 block of Clarkson). Love that neighborhood, but that place wasn't there during our time. I still swing through when I'm back in town though, so I'll hit it next time. Stella's is a regular stop, Several of the bills on the wall there are mine. Summertime in that hood is great, the old trees, the cool parks, the classic architecture (the ones that haven't been torn down yet) - good memories.
Edit: I think that place used to be a florist, and in the crawlspace of our house I found a bottle with the name of a pharmacy that was there ~ 80+ years ago. I think I still have that somewhere.
Big bag of onions at Costco is now finding a new life as French Onion Soup. With the homemade sourdough starter (made from scratch with ambient yeast) turned into a beautiful crunchy crust sourdough loaf.
Having stepped on the scale this morning (oops), I realize it's time to put down the all-purpose and bread flours for a while.

He's refusing to communicate with us for some imagined slights that the Reddit idiots told him were something horrible. So it's been four years. And he's a Q supporter. So there's that.
Maybe I can $5 off his old computer fans.
Sorry to hear. My son is much the same, though we do still communicate.

First day working from home. Primary item is washing the dog. If working with your dog by your side is conformist, then the "Man" got me (forced me to get a stoopit smart phone, I will use exactly 10 seconds a day to enter my soft token for VPN connection, hate it) and I have joined the herd cause Jake is about to join the workforce as my emotional assistant.
I have my computer set up on the never-used dog crate. I'm using it as an opportunity to crate train Jazzy to lay at my feet.
