The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. I would love to see it made into a movie... but to do it right it would have to be a big 'en. It's 9 books.

It generally wasn't as much an issue that the book or story were racist.  I think the removal or subsequent renaming of that book had more to do with the term "sambo" being widely used as an ethnic slur - though that epithet apparently existed in the US before the book was written.  However, Langston Hughes had spoken out against the book in the 1930's.

I loved paper dolls. I used to draw my clothes for my paper dolls. not Bobbsey Twins though. I was more the Barbie type.

The first version is okay, the second is better... v. 3 & 4 have some additional writers and they're probably great too but this one is great even if you don't plan to backpack and even tho the gear is 50 years out of date.
