Well... first we need to set a date. Something at least 8 Mos ahead... then we need to organize the initial funding... maybe some sort of paypal fund to donate towards... then we need to contact local musicians and groups to see about musical guests... set up a some sort of party location, whether we want a hall or a meeting room in a hotel or to rent a space from someplace like Ft. Mason.

With some sort of agenda, media blitz and a spokesperson for media relations...

A lot to consider, no?

Plus we need drink (can't have a party without drink) and food (preferably on a stick) and maybe we can line up a semi-sponsorship situation with a small hotel which will underwrite a group discount if enough of us check in... etc.

Let me know who you think would be best to arrange this... We'll have to appoint an ad-hoc committee. (all those years in the PTA will pay off)
