Oh I agree completely! I meant that is it worth my going to prison, to me, my family, etc., to accost, torture and castrate a child predator who is unlikely to get caught and prosecuted!

You know, there are good carpenters, average carpenters and bad carpenters. Or mechanics, or cops or just people. I don't know if this can be fixed. It just is. When I think about the bad people it makes me really sad inside - sometimes enough that I have to quite thinking about them and try to think about the good people. This is not always easy by the way. I have to ask myself preriodically if my feelings about a particular injustice are worth going to jail over.
