I'd call him "Butterscotch." I hope you find him a good home.

I can't recommend the Banfield by me. I love that they're convenient and are open late and weekends but I wasn't too happy with the doctors there. That could just be that location, though. Not sure it was any less expensive either.

Maggie went to the vet today, and she has a bacterial infection. Glad that is all that it is. ($250 later)

I recommend Banfield clinics, in the Pet Smart stores. At my old vet, the bill would have been much more.

Eek... yeah, that would complicate things... maybe doggie training AND a doggie door (if you can afford both). Hubby and I installed a dog door to the utility room for the cats so we could have the cat pan out of the public areas of the house- it's really easy to do.

I generally think that way as well.  During the warmer months, she's been staying outside in my back yard while I'm at work during the day.  She stays inside in a really large master bathroom with toys, water and something to sleep on if it's raining.  It's starting to get colder but I don't want for her to be cooped up all day every day and she likes it outside.  My yard doesn't have any trees in it and today it's supposed to be around 48 - 50 degrees with full sunshine.  As it gets colder though, I get nervous about trying to predict if it's going to be warm enough for her outside.

I've read that domesticated animals like cats and dogs feel heat and cold in the same way we do and at the same temps, so if it's too cold for you to be out in a thin coat, then it's too cold for them, too.
