Woohoo - more classic rock! Moody Blues' Gemini Dream! Kinda cheesy, but I saw them perform this live, replete with miniskirted, white-booted gogo dancers in dance cages, and it rocked!
Many years ago, a joint called the Handlebar Saloon in Santa Ana. Woner if that place is still around, was way cool - like an old west saloon you'd see in a movie. I have loved the Blasters long time, same L.A. era as Social D, X and the Plimsouls.
Yeah I saw them a few times but in San Francisco ca. 1983 after maybe the second album (anyone remember The Stone?) and later at Slim's etc. in the late 80s/90 a couple of times. Always a great time. The last time I saw them was Blasters + Beat Farmers. Holy crap.
AWESOME Saundrah, how the hell did I miss this one? I've made many a mix with My My Hey Hey segueing into this, and if I ever see Neil again he'd better play that combo.
