Ironically enough, the more the haters and their constituency shrink, the louder they scream. It's making places like the RP forums tedious.

Whose military you talking about, beaker? I thought you posed as being Canadian. Here in these US of A the military is under civilian rule, and therefore subject to the will of the citizenry. That means brandog. Ya know what? It works better than, say, Myanmar. and as long as that is the case, people like you will have to temper your rage with appreciation that there are those with views such as brandog's that help keep the military in check from becoming a ruling and political power. So flail away withyour own propagandist ideals of the military... we here in the US of A will afford you that right, just as we insure that the presence of a military does not define the condition of our freedom by utter reliance upon it. Rather, we hold these truths to be self evident that we are responsible for our freedom, not our military.

He likes sitting in his non-militant country, frothing at the mouth in fanatic support of murder committed by a country he has no voice in, and dreaming of blood & gore & guts & veins in his teeth - probably gets all sticky watching the Abu Ghraib videos and planning on how he can fuck those up who don't share his lust for the death of anyone handy.

Like most ardent supporters of the military, he spends a lot of time preaching about something he isn't willing (or able) to get off his ass and do.

My agenda is a world where people like Beaker are allowed to froth and rage themselves into exhaustion, when, maybe, they might accept some help but, in the meantime have no way to hurt themselves or others.

I'm certainly willing to discuss, debate, and even argue but, I draw the line at threatening personal (be it direct or 'virtual') harm towards another human being, Beaker, on the other hand,  apparently has no such qualms - maybe he should hook up with Pam & they can do us all a favor and do each other in.

I tolerate Beaker's hateful, destructive idiology (spelling is as intended) but, it's tiresome and, in terms of measuring our civilization, and its potential to survive, quite sad.  I do, however, take some pleasure that Beaker's ilk, as a  representational constituency, is shrinking.

You mean people who reduce themselves to threats and personal nastiness just because someone doens't support their agendas?

Which part of 'I'll fuck you up every time you malign the military' have you failed to grasp after all these years?

Nah. Just a little edgy, and annoyed. I ran into my neighbors at the pharmacy today. One of them has an ear infection, saw the urgent care doc, and is now on the same medication as I was when I saw that same doc, and the same stuff I'm on now. It was with some glee that he told me the way my doc has me on the meds is wrong. (My doc had to fire this neighbor because he wasn't honest with the doctor about his self-medicating. And now my neighbor can't stand her. Meh.) Anyway, I was happy to report that Doc Mel thought the way the urgent care doc started me out was absolutely appropriate. But it didn't work. Which is why she's using this longer approach. Petty people are annoying. And that's why I'm acting out here.
