It's all about the music, we all know that. For those of us that work in the creative arts, it just gives us a chance to do something fun that we don't normally get to do. Well, at least that's the way *I* looked at it.
I wonder what our co-hosts have in store for November...
Also, my next cover art is going to be dipped in gold...en beer batter, deep fried, bound together with diamonds, and then wrapped in a free t-shirt. A girl has to make up for a lack of creativity in her sophomore effort somehow... <
What the hell are you talking about, Fishy? Your cover art/envelopes were extremely creative.

i'm probably not going to do much that's impressive in the way of cover art. i just am not feeling it right now. and, most likely won't be mailing until 11/14. hope that's ok with my pod.

Or maaaaaaybe...
I'll do some cross-marketing and include a golden ticket...that means one lucky person will be the winner of fresh wild caught salmon socks.

If you're trying to make me feel old, just realize that that particular ship sailed when I started wondering if a person could gargle with Grecian Formula.

I still have that cassette somewhere in "the archives". It spent a lot of time in my car's cassette player in '87 or so. IIRC, it was recorded when he was 17 or something ridiculous like that. In retrospect it's not that great, but the title cut's got a decent hook.

I saw him play at a tiny little club in JC a few years back and just loved him.

I stayed there once. The room had no window in it. There were curtains, and when you opened them there was a magnificent view of cinderblocks.
OCDHG - Was perusing your songlist dealie there courtesy of Zep. Is that Jimmy Davis formerly of Jimmy Davis & Junction? Edit: Never mind. I answered my own question. It's him. I had no idea he was still recording. He's had a bit of a stylistic departure in the last 23 or 24 years.
OCDHG - your mix is awesome! The first half reminded me of all those pics you and your husband posted on your road trip. It's a pretty good soundtrack of a roadtripper's life. The second half was a bit more loose to interpretation, but rounded everything out really well. What a great listen! Thank you for sending one my way!
