I saw him play at a tiny little club in JC a few years back and just loved him.

I still have that cassette somewhere in "the archives". It spent a lot of time in my car's cassette player in '87 or so. IIRC, it was recorded when he was 17 or something ridiculous like that. In retrospect it's not that great, but the title cut's got a decent hook.
I stayed there once. The room had no window in it. There were curtains, and when you opened them there was a magnificent view of cinderblocks.

OCDHG - your mix is awesome! The first half reminded me of all those pics you and your husband posted on your road trip. It's a pretty good soundtrack of a roadtripper's life. The second half was a bit more loose to interpretation, but rounded everything out really well. What a great listen! Thank you for sending one my way!
