A. Women simply do not value this particular "freedom" as highly as men. I'm sorry if you don't wish to accept what I'm about to say, but it is true: men are promiscuous by nature. Like it or not, we like spreading our seed around - to as many willing partners as will let us. Sorry honey, that's just nature talking (and no amount of feminist blather is going to change this biological reality.) It is part of the maturation process that women (and men) come to accept this fact of life - and deal with it in some way.

This was in fact how previous generations, my parents', for example, looked at it. They accepted the basic biological differences between the sexes and proceeded from there, accepting the fact that the sexes ARE different and have different expectations regards the male/female relationship. Female strategies differed from woman to woman, of course. Some chose to look the other way in response to their husbands' philandering (especially if their husband was a high status male - think Rose Kennedy.) Others chose to eschew relations with men entirely. I truly believe that, in this regard at least, my parents' generation was a lot wiser than mine, and succeeding, generations. Unfortunately, today both sexes have been totally screwed up by feminist philosophy.

The "freedom" to be promiscuous is a freedom most women do not value highly and will gladly relinquish in order to satisfy her other more pressing needs - security, comfort, and (if the relationship is legitimized through marriage) improved social status. From the female's way of looking at things, it is a very small sacrifice indeed.

Incidentally, there are a few women who agree with. They are usually among the more intelligent, honest  members of their sex. Not many to be sure, but they do exist. You need to get out into the real world more often and see for yourself.
