That's a good point, but as the composer, might you stand to honor the performer?
Also Joni is kind of fragile, physically, so that could be part of it too.

I may take some crap for this, but how can you resist the energy in this version (why didn't Bruce ever bring the tempo up close to this)? and the mutha-effing BASS solo instead of the sax really tears it up.
