I do that all the time, shameless about it. I have sat through more than one God awful movie or TV show because I found the actress adorable and could not take my eyes off of her. Actually have watched a couple with the sound off they were so bad!{#Lol}BTW totally agree with you on the lovely Ms Deschanel, I have been on to her for years.{#Hearteyes}

I'm hopeful they'll dial down the quirk and dial up the character development in coming eps. If not, even the endlessly adorable Zooey Descanel might not save it.

Have one for me! {#Lol}

From the promos, this piece should be a good cautionary tale about what happens when so-called "Christians" are allowed to force sovereign nations to conform to their personal beliefs.  For such an old subject, it seems to have a lot to say that applies directly to current events.

I can usually tell by the previews whether or not I will be interested. I try not to get involved with too many shows. Because of this, I have missed getting into some really good shows, like Breaking Bad.

When I lived by myself, I hardly had the tv on, but J is a junkie.

Hiate to admit it but I have the TV jones myself.

So you prefer to miss the first couple episodes that set forth the premise and decide to watch based on some one else's opinion.

The sign of a true independent thinker.

I guess I can understand not wanting to waste time on something that sucks but many times reviewers and I don't agree.

To each his own.

Neither did I, but the plot twists in the first episode will have me watching the next.  If you ignore the titillating imagery and focus on the story line, it has everything a good mystery/suspense show needs.

that's cool to know. i dvr'd it. along with a few other new shows that have started. one i really liked was person of interest. also liked a gifted man. haven't seen the playboy club, don't have high hopes for it, though. did like the new girl, but i'm not sure of it's chops. it's kinda fun having a dvr all to myself. i have a ton of other things i'm recording, too.

Game Of Thrones seems OK. It would probably be easier to follow if I'd read the books, but I don't like the fantasy genre.

Does anyone have U-verse? Do you like it? If you have had Comcast, how does it compare?
