Still pretty dark in its own way. They've both got issues, but she seems to write about them less directly and more poetically.

Her stuff tends to be a little less narrative/more poetic than his. Honest truth is that from a purely lyrical standpoint, I think she's a better writer.

Not really new, but new to me: Papadasio.  Caught them at a local festival this week and was very entertained.  Kinda jazzy, techno rock thing.   Great drums.

Ptooey had posted a link to a live-in-studio performance by this band about a year ago and they just happened to be playing in my area around that time so I went to see them.  Good band, excellent musicians, nice folks.  Anyhow, they are coming back to my area next month and apparently have an album due in August; I found this video on their site. - it has about a 1:00 intro.
