It's just nice to know what a gentleman he is: the gutless POS yells at a woman but he didn't even come out of his house when I went out a little latter to move the car into our drive.  I hate rednecks.

Two of my cars parked in front of my house were ass-ended by hit and runs. Now everyone and their mother can park there and not a dang thing will hit em'.

And my sweetie feline Sasha, the miracle cat at my vet where everyone there knows her name (frequent flyer), has lost weight in the last while.  Just thinking about the possibility of losing her makes me very sad.

Aw man.......I can only imagine. I'm already feeling wistful that Ceili's voice is changing, and many of her meows and trills are coming out hoarse/croaky. Sometimes.........she does the "silent meow" like Janis's elderly cat used to do. Oh well.........savor each day we have them, right?

The assholes (sorry, grrrrrr) in Ohio who shot the Bengal Tigers and Lions. OMG!!!!

Alexandra, run.  Get out.

I was right there with you! But I've been following this all day from different sources. Jack Hannah and Jeff Corwin have both come out and said that they did what they could do. This all started around 530 last night, then it started getting dark. They had gotten people out there from the local zoo but you apparently can't tranquilize these animals at night. They will go into hiding, won't be found and will die...or become even more agitated and aggressive. My blame lies on the policy makers who have not enforced any kind of bans or restrictions on being able to have these animals.

Well, they did it in Chicago too——when a mountain lion wandered into the city. Just ONE and they couldn't even tranquilize it and get it safely out. They would do this anywhere......and I hate it.

But Ohio does need to put better restrictions on keeping domestic animals, that's for sure.

Of course nothing against your Buckeyes but good grief!!!  The guy who owned them and then committed suicide after letting them lose, ey yi yi.  Yes, where are the tranquilizer guns???  Poor things.
