Just up the hill from here. I saw this place last summer. Gaping holes in the roof, raccoons in residence, trees growing from the gutters.
Delighted to know the orchard is intact.
All the photos on the site are all or partly CG.
The upstairs stuff looks weird, but the rest looks like normal realtor HDR/stretch perspective stuff (or is that what you are talking about?).
Some funny chairs and lighting, and yeah some of them may just be photoshoppy but I think some of the lawn and foliage is fake. The carpeting seems legit. Just a lot of makeup. The exposed beam in one room seems to be in rougher shape than the walls around it. Since BHD said there were holes in the roof, I wonder if they patched them with shingles or pixels.

No surprise there. This place sold in January of this year at $242k. And pay no attention to what it's saying about the property taxes. This is also one of those homes that the local FD may deem "indefensible" because of its position on the property. It is a lovely private site. And no longer in my safety zone so who cares?
Generally I think the investment company which owns it has seriously overpriced it. They're based in Bainbridge. This ain't Bainbridge.

How much was it? The current price doesn't seem exorbitant for the area and quality.

I was chatting with my Montpelier friends recently. They, too, are freaked out by the property taxes up that way. Tough living in a capital city.

I used to know the guy how had the very end tie on that dock. It was a sweet spot in summer. But he maintained two slips in the marina so he could move inside in winter (he would sublet the alternate spot). It was one of the best views in town, but the marina there is pretty bare bones, and you are just far enough away from the cool spots in Ballard.
Edit: 26 minutes.
Fun place to rent a kayak and look at all the boats. Just watch out for the seaplanes.
