I think you're supposed to have the prostate exam annually after you hit 50, so I've had two. Takes about 10 seconds, and is only a minor embarassment.

Had an exam 6 months ago, I've seen the same Dr for 12 years now, but we've never been as close as we were during the exam. I think it's the start of a wonderful friendship.

 I used to leave the room for my Mom's pap smears and mammograms until her dementia got totally out of control and she would get scared if I left her alone with strangers.

      Phew, and I thought it was rough when I had to go to the store and buy her new bras and underwear. {#Lol}
