Especially since it is an open running game that is not conducive to wearing head protection. This leads to very unclear rules on what is or is not allowed. Although penalty kicks are awarded, there are no red cards like soccer, and players continue to play after unsportsmanlike acts. Which leads to the 'tribunal'. After the weekend the tribunal gets together and hands out a ban on playing one or more matches to players who have broken the rules. Actually, they offer a plea bargain - the players can appeal at the risk of a longer ban if they lose. Thus, I present to you a rather uniquely Australian concept in this week's tribunal rulings - duty of care. " Naitanui was left dumbstruck by the ruling, which cited he had a duty of care to a player about 30kg lighter than him." As in, "Don't hurt the little fella."
Zdeno Chara is lucky they don't have a Tribunal in the NHL.

Dude got his bell rung, no doubt, but you can't blame the tackle. It happens sometimes when you're just sailing along and out of nowhere you get hit by a flying planet.

I think she is going to upset him which will be quite a feat, this is combat sports, to beat down one of the toughest dudes in the sport will be quite a coup indeed! Pardon me if I don't celebrate this as a great day in sports. Not as bad as dog fighting and I wouldn't try to stop these people from beating on each other, but that doesn't mean I have to watch.

big day for New Zealand sports. After fighting the Mexican soccer team with handbags during the week, we move on to sterner stuff today: wallowing in the mud and trying not to choke.
