Oh that. They really shouldn't have pepper sprayed that lady. It really pisses me off when I start thinking if I can justify police overreach because they are dealing with a bunch of wankers (spoiler: I can't).
There is one universal common ground for the left and the right: The police are the problem, except when they aren't.
just search twitter "australia police violence" or something similar (it doesn't look pretty)

Not sure what you are seeing but the international rightwing cabal or whatever is stirring up a lot of antivax, antilockdown sentiment in Australia by publishing articles in the US, critical of government measures to control the outbreaks so our healthcare doesn't fall over.
am i the only one seeing some pretty disturbing video out of australia? admittedly i'm fairly busy with work, but it seems that someone somewhere is doing something

If you are talking about the scenes of protests in Melbourne, yea, a bunch of dicks keep going out and rioting. The unsubstantiated story is that a lot of troublemakers dressed up in brand new workboots and hi vis to look like tradies. There clearly were some trades people involved, too. The joke is that they found it was too much trouble to go out and protest all day so next time they will just send the apprentices.

We have flocks of em here 100kms north of Perth ,W.A. Better known as "Tip Turkeys" cause that's where most of em hang out. Can see 3 of them now just down our front paddock as I type
There is a nickel mining town in northern Manitoba Canada who adopted the ravens as their mascot - the Thompson Turkeys. They of course were known to hang out at the tip, but also were really good at stealing food from the outdoor dogs. They knew the length of the dog chains so could swoop in, grab something then sit just out of reach.
Haven't had any bin chickens in our paddock in a while. I think the city has been quietly dispatching the ones in the park nearby. Doesn't really make sense to me because the corellas up the gum trees over the path are the real danger to your hair.
That confirms it, then. I think their range is expanding and there is a plausible suggestion that the Sidney bin chicken population resulted from escapees from a zoo.
And my uncle is from Noosa, nowhere near Adelaide I know, but he played rugby so that was a tip o' the cap to him.

I did actually do a bit of research but may have been misdirected by the multiple hits to this story...

I checked and Adelaide is on the edge of the Australian white ibis range, so you just squeaked in. I was getting set to compare you to those Asian companies who do bad translations of American culture.
Never mind that Adelaide is an Australian Rules Football town. Their team is the Crows so I suppose an ibis would be a good match for rugby. Rugby League, not Rugby Union, of course.

I took a hiatus from making shirts for Every Damn Thing⢠but I'm back at it...
