Since work got a little slow, I went on Ancestry.com to figure a couple of things out about my family.
And did I open up a can of worms.

My great, great grand father and his wife came from Austria to Minnesota back in 1896.

They and their family pretty much took over the town... a large family came soon after.

My great grandfather and great grandmother with their 2nd child. Their first died at 4 months old.
They ended up with 60+ grandchildren!

Another later family picture with nine of their 13 children. My grandfather wasn't born yet.

Thankfully the temperance gene does not actually get expressed very often in my family.  There are only two or three of them.  I'm pretty sure it's a recessive trait.   However you did not even think about bringing alcohol into my grandmother's house.  Even hinting that it might be being consumed elsewhere would get you an evil glare for the rest of your visit.

That is regrettably a pose you would never gotten from my grandmother or great grandmother (pictured on the following page).  From before I can remember until they passed away when I was in my mid and late 20s my great aunt lived with my grandparents.  Aunt Daisy continued to come and "babysit" for us well past the time when we actually needed one (or when one would do any good for that matter) for the sole purpose of allowing her to get away from her sister and have a beer once and awhile.  It has for some reason though reminded me of an old family photo of Mom, Grandma, and others all wearing Groucho glasses that I now have to look for.

It's about the team of people in England that cracked Enigma.

Being the geek that I am I would probably like it.  It is often six or seven years after a movie has been out that I finally do get around to watching it.

No, I almost never go to movies anymore.  It seems like a baseball game is about the only thing longer than half an hour I still have the attention span for.
