Insufficiently complete.

Now the challenge is not to train criminals but train innocent civilians so they are not shot by police.

That means:  No broken tail lights!  Everything on your automobile must be in tip-top shape.  All traffic laws must be carefully followed to the letter.

I have lived that way all my life. I am always reminded of the Dylan lyric in Tom Thumb Blues; "the cops don't need you and man, they expect the same."

Me too.  Especially since I started smoking hashish at the age of 14, occasionally carrying psychedelics.   Why gratuitously attract unwanted attention by the police?  Especially with shoulder-length hair.

Black American men might benefit by forming a Broken Tail-light Club.   The BTC's central message would be fix everything on the automobile that could provide any kind of pretence  for the police to pull them over:  lights, deflated tires, muddy and dirty license plates, clutter, noisy exhaust system, excess exhaust smoke.

I know, it ain't fair.  Blacks should have the right to be just as sloppy about the state of their automobiles as whites are. The world isn't fair.  Just like it wasn't too fair to pasty-faced men with long hair in the not so distant past.

How about a loud neon sticker they can apply to the barrel of their 9mm auto? That'd probably work better....

Or how about a t-shirt that screams..... I LOVE KILLING PEOPLE!

or

AMERICANS:  HARDWIRED TO KILL.

Would those slogans work in favour of deterrence?

which brings up another challenge

political definitions (having conversations with differing definitions is a recipe for frustration)

politically commandeering language to demonize is an industry in itself

because voting out of fear (or the lesser of two evils) will get us there

social conditioning might be the most powerful resource on earth

To counter Muslim migrant sex assaults, Swedish cops giving girls “Do not molest me” bracelets
In the aftermath of last year's asylum-related sexual attacks at the "We Are Stockholm" youth festival, the Swedish police are now launching a new campaign. Officers will give out bracelets with the text "Do not molest me" to girls attending this year's festival, of according to Dan Eliasson, head of the country's national police force.

I'd like to order the following bracelets: Don't rob me! Don't shoot me! Don't carjack me! Don't swear at me! Buy me a beer!

Reading is good.

As for the bracelet, it makes sense to me.  It is a tangible signal from the police that groping will not be tolerated and the police will take complaints seriously.

Hei all,

What about training criminals to be more sophisticated and to avoid unnecessary violence?  Think about it:

"By taking this course, you will increase your expected profitability, decrease expected jail time and increase life expectancy.   We will show you how to avoid unnecessarily attracting the attention of 'the man, unnecessarily avoiding 'time with the man' and similar.  We will show you how to negotiate mutually beneficial deals with your competitors that eliminates costly violence and police scrutiny."
