How sad he's gone.  Sounds like the office manager at Melvin Belli's law offices in SF.  His name escapes me.

they have to have drugged up that kitteh!

ok, no i'm sure they didn't. it's just too weird that it would enjoy being in the water like that, like it does it daily. odd! but i like it! cute!

My Ex use to fill her bathtub up about half way for the kittehs to cool off in during the Tulsa Summers. They would get in and out, on their own, all day.

What I love the most about it is that it's so clearly something that they do every day.  The way kitteh waits for the basket jumps in and then waits for him to pet her before getting out.

I love it

And is so used to it that he only needs to tie the basket on two sides. No wobbling.

I would imagine that would make it kind of painful for her to jump. Poor kitty.

nah just lazy.  These days Jemma stands under the window and meows for me to put her up on the sill.  I'm hoping it's just laziness and not pain for her to jump

That reminded me of a when I first lived in an apartment and had a cat that used to get up on the roof and look over the eaves into our window (we were in the second floor). She had this mournful meow and refused to go back down the way she came up. I would have to open a window and hold a clothes basket out the window and she would jump in. I can't believe she was that trusting.
