A friend brought this song up yesterday and I have stories but anyway, he was remarking on how it's 9 minutes long, barely changes at all, and by the time it ends you think it's too short, and wondered if fans of jam bands felt that way about their music. The lyrics end before the 3 minute mark and then you've got 6 minutes of bliss....
Similar aspects to this song in some ways - more like a long groove combined with a "jam".

Two minutes in "yeah this is pretty cool." Four minutes in "it's the same tune but I'm still strangely transfixed." Six minutes in "this is my life now, nothing else matters, please never let this end."
