I would stick with just smart. I doubt that he wanted to shell out patent and or trademark money and engage in any litigation. Now itâs NYT property and they have the deep pockets to do so. Cashing out while this is in an upward trajectory makes the most senseâ¦ in a year from now it might be Wordle who? The public is fickle.
