I was feeling sorry for myself so I just bought a Sonos Play-1 (drowning in consumerism) and am quite impressed. Adding an RP stream was a snap once I figured out where to enter the url (Manage> Add a radio station - who would have thought...)
SiriusXM lists about 8 or 10 supported devices, including Sonos and Grace Digital. I guess there might be a chance that Logitech will update the firmware in the Squeezebox to again stream Sirius, but since they no longer even sell the Squeezebox, I'm not holding my breath.
Alison's former boss installed a Sonos in the store. I think all the speakers in the place were wireless Sonos speakers. They can control it from the POS computer, and he can control it from his iPhone as well. It streams Pandora, SiriusXM, RP, Spotify, and pretty much any other internet stream you could imagine.
We currently feed the Squeezebox into a 12 year old Bose Lifestyle 30 home theater audio system, but I think I could replace the entire thing with a Sonos and some wireless speakers.
i think the big advantage with sonos is the customization/control options with it's own "intranet"
flexibility to expand as desired and different music in different rooms/locations etc.

This is bad to hear. I was considering buying a Sonos to replace our Logitech Squeezebox Touch, which is about to lose it's ability to stream SiriusXM. Can anybody shed insight on this guy's problems playing RP on the Sonos? Because if I can't listen to RP on it, I don't want one, and will have to keep looking for a suitable replacement for the Squeezebox.
i've been looking at sonos too
love the idea/concept and the product gets good reviews

I have a friend that can still use theirs, so I'm thinking it's isolated to my configuration. I'll be contacting Sonos customer support.
I hope it works out for you. Have you considered sending a PM to BillG, or posting this in Bug Reports? Perhaps Bill can offer a suggestion as to how to get it playing on your device again.

Wow, this topic hasn't been brought up in a while. For years I enjoyed RP on my Sonos, but recently lost the ability to listen to RP streams in Sonos using TuneIn - the NOW PLAYING Sonos dialog just says "connecting..." and then times out after about 30-60 seconds with "Unable to play the selected item.", then "Unable to play 'Radio Paradise' - unable to connect to TuneIn". As far as I can tell, this is the only avenue to listen to RP in Sonos. Is anyone else having a similar issue or know of a solution? Does TuneIn now require a login or registration process?
