I have it on good authority his speech will be an infomercial for his steaks.
Coming from the man who orders his burnt and eats them with catsup, I am sure he will make a persuasive salesman.
Although the scrounging for the latest food trend has reached such a fever pitch in cities like DC, I would not be surprised if some chef tries to figure out how to make well done beef and house made catsup palatable. "Steak a la Trump", anyone??
Gee, I hope Trump doesn't say anything stupid in front of any UN world leaders this week...
I think his speech will come across within the range of normal, presidential even, but then he'll f it up on the way back to trump tower with some inane tweet.
And I honestly think Trump's whole new goal is to bring up his approval rating and damn the accomplishments or non-accomplishments that fall out.
You do realize this is the goal of every President that rises to power in this corrupt political duopoly. They exist to serve the party and this is the result. However this also highlights one of the differences of Trump than our previous CEO's, he does not do it for party, he wants to improve his approval rating out of pure narcissism. Crazy guy, maybe he will do some unintended good shit or something. It is different. lol
This is the fallacy of thinking "I'm not happy with the way things are, any change would be good".

One, I am stunned anyone actually listens to Hannity and to RP.
I'm omnivorous. Open minded. Don't have to love every RP song and don't have to agree with Fox & Friends, but it's important to watch Hannity and Carlson - a lot of Americans are listening to them and nodding their heads in agreement.

I was listening to Hannity yesterday talking with Cruz and it was remarkable that he was saying the exact same things as the Dems were saying during the Obama period: Congress is full of losers who can't get anything done.
It was interesting to hear him side with Trump as a positive influence, since he's such a loser Prez. But there is finally a suggestion of the obvious point - that the GOP is basically dead and just refuses to admit it.
But freakin' Hannity was even on board with: we have the Presidency, all of Congress, and SCOTUS and we couldn't get Obamacare repealed or any other major legislation. Cruz agreed and said that if they can't get tax reform passed they have every right to be embarrassed. (Didn't say "voted out of office" but should've.)
So what we're seeing is the conservative opinion folks getting fed up with their own. The Dems should (but probably aren't) be organizing strategy to come out like gangbusters for the midterms. Of course, they'll shoot themselves in the foot by hinging everything on old, uninspiring people like Warren and Sanders and Pelosi. They need to understand that their time will soon pass and we need fresh inspiring people who are fiscally responsible, eloquent, and socially aware (without seeming to pander).
Holding my breath, waiting....

Even if the republican party is basically dead, it doesn't mean you won't be stuck with a bunch of zombies for a long time.
First a debt ceiling deal, now a DACA deal with democrats...Don seems to be pivoting to the left.
Congressman Steve King of Iowa tweeted at the president that, if the latest reports are true, "Trump base is blown up, destroyed, irreparable, and disillusioned beyond repair. No promise is credible."
One of Mr Trump's most fervent supporters, Ann Coulter, tweeted: "At this point, who DOESN'T want Trump impeached?"
Breitbart, the website run by Mr Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon, ran the headline, "Amnesty Don" and accused the president of "a full-fledged cave".
