Can you imagine if the news only reported what occurred, without speculating, embellishing, or giving undue attention to every sniffle?

He wouldn't have wanted the job in the first place, of course. What if we ignored him and let the government implode without a lot of foofaraw?

He's impossible to ignore because we can't let Trump's "crazy" become the new "normal". The press is doing a good job of that. If anyone thinks that the press is being too harsh or nit-picky it's only because Trump has supplied more than enough fuel to keep that fire burning.

Let's not forget that Trump has been bashing the press since the very beginning... given Trump's personal penchant for holding grudges... did he actually think that burning those bridges early on was going to benefit him or give him a pass later? There was no goodwill "banked" that he could draw from.

I'm willing to bet that Trump is a horrible chess player. Of course if you ask him he would undoubtedly tell you otherwise...

It's inherent in all our posts, of course, but here's a Republican President with a conservative Supreme Court and a Republican House and Senate - and they blame the media for not being able to get things done.

This blame-everyone-else-campaign has been successful for both GOP politicians and the conservative entertainment media since the 1990's.
It would have been great for the career's of both of these if Hillary would have won.
I read once that a former staffer on The Rush Limbaugh Show said that el-rush-bo was ecstatic in '96 when Bill got re-elected. Good for ratings.
And like you said they own all branches and all they can do is blame the media.

That was a common Republican complaint when Bill appointed Hillary to chair the health care reform effort during his first term.

This whole strain/refrain out there that the turbulence surrounding Trump and his presidency is nothing but the desperate attempts of an unholy alliance of "establishment" Republicans, Democrats, the "Deep State," and the "mainstream media" to prevent Trump from draining the swamp and righting the American vessel for smooth constitutional sailing is baffling to me.  In fact, it is totally beyond my comprehension.

Stated incredibly simply:  If a President says, and does, stupid things, that is going to garner attention each and every time, and the President and his or her administration will reap the consequences that may follow.

Politics aside, I'll admit that it's a great idea to "shake up Washington"  and pay more attention to the our own citizens but Trump ain't the guy,
Fred Trump must have really did a number on his son because he is mentally and emotionally unstable.
But speakers more eloquent than me made this case over and over before the election and they voted for him anyway.
Just dump Trump in a New Jersey river and let's start fighting with President Pence over his Christian version of Sharia Law.

OK, we do have an issue with immigration, but what i dont get is why Trumpeters (ha, just made that up) put this at the top of agenda...seems like there is a long list of other issues ahead of that, like our mounting debt (and yes, the democrats are probably more blind to the debt issue).
