Oh, it'll be a cold day in Hades before I even consider responding. Believe you me. Until then, you'll just be wishing we had a dialogue of some sort so you could post a witty riposte. But that day shall never come.

Beaker wrote: There's no need to make your disagreement with Kurtster personal by wording your commentary this way. Dispute the wisdom of the message, not the person. Amen. "Show us the proof that s/he did that." is much preferred to "You're an idiot for thinking s/he did that." The forum falls apart when we start insulting each other - although goodness knows it's tempting and easy. Especially with some of you imbeciles.

Very little left for me as I voted in March and now must wait for the circus to come to town in July. What I see at this point is that the repub establishment fears Trump but only hates Cruz. That right there is an endorsement for Trump if you are tired of the status quo of corruption as usual.
Trump in reality only gives lip service to social issues as we have seen with the abortion gaffe. That should be a relief to liberals who fear that Trump will undo so many social advances that have been won over the past decades. He is the repub you don't have to fear on social issues. He would prefer to see them as settled law and ignore the stuff. If you want to see the establishment gravy train derailed and the economy fixed, he is the only choice for that.
Granted, he is rude and crude, but he wants what is best for Americans who still want to be Americans. Americans in their own sovereign nation with borders and laws that mean something and protect Americans from the rest of the world that hates America, Americans and uniquely American values that we have established over several centuries of devotion to the belief that an individual has inalienable rights under a Constitution that protects the individual from the government and restrains the government from excess against the individual via mob rule.
No other candidate offers this.
2¢ ... ymmv as I'm sure it does ...
You appear to have no rationale basis for presuming that Trump would have either the desire or ability to take on corruption. His business dealings relied upon taking advantage of corrupt politicians when it would help him get what he wanted. Stop focusing on his pandering and take some time to look at his record. I'm surprised you don't recognize a grifter when you hear one. Did you know that the root of the word grifter (grift) is likely a corruption of the word graft? What you're proposing is to put a fox in charge of the hen house. He doesn't want what's best for ordinary Americans. Look what he did for American citizens who applied for jobs with his resorts (ignored their applications in favor of undocumented immigrants). He wants what's best for him personally, and would likely only support policies that would stroke his ego (i.e. boost his public persona, his approval ratings, etc.).
