To be ashamed of natural processes, the way "Christians" are brainwashed to do, has made our species necrotic about sex. But then maybe keeping it "nasty"  and "taboo" helps to promote procreation, since humans tend to do everything they tell themselves not to.

On the other paw, perhaps people should be castrated before puberty to avoid these issues and to help reduce the human population... which is on the verge of collapse because of overpopulation. I see our economic and natural resource issues linked to too many people slicing into a pie that is more and more, less and less.
