Yeah, they were pretty obscure, all right. I'm not even sure how Chris heard of them....maybe they played that one song on the radio back in the 70s (it came out circa 74 or 75).
I had to email him a couple of months ago to find out who the artist was, because all I remembered was the song and title.
I heard a LOT of bass lines when my brother used to sit in his room and play along with music we couldn't hear in his headphones. Later, I learned that they were these songs (and a few others I can't think of right now...).
