As much as I enjoy listening to this, it always kind of bums me out, because it reminds me that my ex-husband and I went to see the movie on our first date.

I used to use this and a couple other decks to make demo tapes for bands back in college in the 70's. Was a lot of fun.

Yep its playing right now in fact...I still have at least 200 commercially recorded tapes and around 1800 or so tapes I recorded. Maybe more. I have a large collection of decks to choose from also. Its fun playing tapes I recorded back in '67 and its amazing all the music I have forgotten existed as some of it never gets played anymore.

Oh, the memories...I never had a commercial reel tape, but I had PLENTY that I recorded.  I looked at those q-tips and for a brief moment, thought "WTF?", but then I remembered denatured alcohol.  Nice machine, Dave.  Still with you?
