my professor was a milton scholar. he was a serious expert on his life and writings. i really admired him. this professor also taught "shakespeare in film" which was one of my favorite classes, and made me fall in love with him (though he was a 60+ yr old, happily married man.) i took every class of his i could possibly take after that. what i've read is just amazing. check him out. albert labriola.
