I don't smoke weed but I tried this cannabis edible called Avexia Harmony.  It's 50% thc and 50% cbd.  The effect is really good. It's like the good effect of weed without the bad effects. I always disliked the effects of smoking weed. Especially the disorienting effect. And the weed hangover effect that seems to last for days. And I despise inhaling smoke. But the cbd in the edible counter-acts all of these. You don't get stoned apparently the cbd prevents that. But you do experience this real pleasant effect. Also it takes longer to kick in ( an hour or more) but the effect lasts much longer than smoking. Maybe four hours. Where I live this stuff is now legal. It also helps inflammation pain, insomnia, and it acts as an anti-depressant.  I can't think of a single negative effect from this stuff. And best of all (for me) it works really well as a substitute for alcohol.

Does it hurt to laugh? Want me to make stuff up about all the trouble we've been in together and put it on the internet?  Maybe tell the true stories.
How about some good dentist jokes...

Ah. If only it were it as simple and unambiguous as that then
no one could rightly take personal responsibility...

You have to admit its a great escape plan...

It will pass.
Hang in there for a few more days.
I had two wisdom teeth pulled a couple of weeks ago. Nowhere near what you went through.
I bleed quite a bit. But the next day things improved quickly.
So double/ triple my time...

Attended one a few months ago. It was pretty good.  Had people from 3 continents.

yeah they had some streaming issues (which delayed the start and was a bit jerky at times)

but getting dressed in my formal beachwear, relaxing on my sofa and petting my dog while this was happening was great

I made breakfast and coffee, but I do that every morning. Then I went grocery shopping and bought a new planner for myself.
Just returned from a workout at the gym. Still only a scant number of members there.

So if Kurtster posted the same pic would you also think he is is awesome?   Asking for a friend.

Yes. Not for his political views or their inability to change when challenged by facts, but for his participation in our form of democracy. Admittedly, I'm not as keen about Kurt's voting as I would be about a Biden supporter voting but there it is.

As I've said before, when you live in a democracy you inevitably have to deal with election choices that disappoint or even appall you. You have to trust in the political system and/or work to change it when you think it's dysfunctional or trending towards some permanent breakdown.

I don't want Trump to win because I think he poses an existential threat to a free, effective and transparent American government. Trump is dangerously reckless and self-centered. Many of his followers seem to have swilled the Kool-Aid and follow him unthinkingly, to a degree that Stalin and Mao would have envied. But those followers have a right to vote. Burning the village to save it doesn't really work.

Going to wait a four more years until 70. A little bigger chunk then.
