Military swearing in Trump as President on March 6th

Wow. This site has a LOT of ridiculous headlines, with almost no supporting articles or facts.

Like "Trump leaves Republicans to start the Patriot Party"

Quick, someone find their pacifiers...
“How did America go from the early 1960s with prayer and the Bibles in schools, respect for our flag, common decency, and men in the community willing to defend their honor and the honor of others, to 2021 where people argue there are more than two sexes, degeneracy is accepted, and people can act like wild animals burning down cities while those in positions of authority and leadership either do nothing or, worse, applaud the ‘courageous’ efforts of the rioters?

The answer? What we are experiencing is the intentional outcome of a coordinated 100-year effort by the COMINTERN, Communist Party USA, and their allies, and the over 60-year effort by the North American Islamic Movement primarily led by the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Ken Cuccinelli warns that the left is targeting Christians: “There are a lot of people on the left who are truly tyrannical, and I include the use of force and violence in that. … They are truly violent communists.”

Pillow Fight: The right-wing media competition for Mike Lindell’s affection (and money)
Viewers who tune in to the far-right One America News Network on Friday will see a right-wing pillow impresario’s take on how the 2020 presidential election was stolen from Donald Trump. OAN is airing MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s two-hour disinfomercial on the subject, “Absolute Proof,” four times over the course of the day, making it the bulk of the channel’s programming from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET.

OAN’s credulous airing of a series of deranged election fraud conspiracy theories marks the latest salvo in a fierce competition between OAN and fellow right-wing cable channels Fox News and Newsmax as they vie for Lindell’s affections — and his advertising dollars. The networks, which have all been sued or threatened with lawsuits for pushing false claims about the election, are risking additional legal exposure to win the pillow fight. (...)

Good observation.   State and county employees are indeed comfortable and live comfortably with much more job security than peers in the private sector but they are not "rich".

FWIW, I started pushing this line because I believe it would be a big mistake to assume that most Trump supporters are angry rich, privileged whites.   One can be a 'privileged white' as well as angry without being rich.

It might be useful to better understand why so many materially comfortable middle class whites supported Trump.    There appears to be some support for Trump and his movement among materially comfortable Canadian workers.    Some of the  motivation is similar.

From my reading of Trump rallies and the the storming of the Capitol building, relatively few Trump supporters are this affluent.

Maybe a better question is how did all those people get a Wednesday (and Tuesday and Thursday) off to fly or drive to Washington? Right after a holiday? They came from all over, not just the DC suburbs. That tells me there's a lot more affluence in that crowd than you'd like to believe.

People make time for their political passions.   Lots of left and progressive activists and sympathizers do not have much money but spend considerable time  demonstrating for the cause.   Within a typical cause célèbre, there will be some people with gobs of money, but not very many.

Anyhow, that is what I observed as a student activist, labour organizer, UFWA community organizer and peace & disarmament activist.

So how many here can read or attempt to read socio-economic status off of a person's face, body, clothing and attitude?   It can be more difficult than reading substance abuse and chronic lifestyle/health issues.
