Musk is moving his companies out of California.

He's mad that in California the school system now has to treat students with dignity and respect, so he's moving to a state that has hate and discrimination baked right in and he's building a company town where he can control everyone who works for him.

Imagine living in a company town run by this guy. You live in his idea of housing, you buy from his store, your kids go to his school, you see his doctor, you worship in his church, you drive his cars, and you work in his factory, you get your news from his internet and media, and you vote for his candidates. But more than that, you and your family have to identify in a manner approved by Mayor Musk.

And every day you hope — hope — he doesn't make some wacky random decision that just completely destroys your life.Like waking up one morning to find out via TWEET that you're suddenly moving to another state. Or maybe Mars. Article here: https://www.cnn.com/.../business/elon-musk-spacex-x-texas/

#MeToo, billionaire bonding edition.

By Saturday night, the terms “Deep State” and “antifa” were among the top trending topics across X, formerly known as Twitter. (...)

Musk took to X to formally endorse former president Donald Trump’s candidacy after the shooting Saturday, as did billionaire hedge fund owner Bill Ackman, a longtime supporter of Democratic candidates who has been critical of President Biden. Members of Musk’s inner circle, including venture capitalists David Sacks and Shaun Maguire, have thrown their weight behind Trump in recent months, but Musk appeared to hold out. (...)

In a post viewed by nearly 70 million users, Musk described the Secret Service’s actions as “incompetence or it was deliberate” and called on agency leaders to resign.

After Ackman issued his endorsement, Musk then reposted his message, as did Maguire, a venture capitalist with Sequoia Capital and friend of Musk, who praised “people that are willing to change their minds as new data comes in.”

Maguire later posted — without providing evidence — that the shooter “will almost certainly be discovered to be a member” of the left-wing group antifa.

Elon Musk has another secret child with exec at his brain implant company

Elon Musk, who has long touted claims about the world’s supposed depopulation crisis, had another child with an executive at his brain implant company Neuralink, according to a report from Bloomberg. Neuralink director Shivon Zilis reportedly had the child with Musk earlier this year.

Musk already has twins with Zilis, which Business Insider discovered in 2022 after digging up a court document. He has three children with the musician Grimes and six children from previous relationships, making for a total of 12 that we know of. On Thursday, Musk reposted a chart that claims Europe is suffering from a “fertility crisis,” saying “civilization may end with a bang or with a whimper (in adult diapers).”

Elon Musk's X pushed a fake headline about Iran attacking Israel. X's AI chatbot Grok made it up.
The AI-generated false headline was promoted by X in its official trending news section.

"Functioning" is certainly a characteristic of many bridges. I wonder if there are others?

I never liked drawbridges. They probably don't build them anymore; inefficient multi-tasking.
