Hi tkosh,

I don't if anyone's responded to your request for help but I think the best people to ask would be William and his colleagues. I found these two email addresses by going to the "About" link near the top center of the page, clicking on it and selecting on the "Contact Us" link that appeared.

Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes was convicted Tuesday of seditious conspiracy for a violent plot to overturn President Joe Biden’s election, handing the Justice Department a major victory in its massive prosecution of the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection

Now for the monster who egged him on, please.

I looked at Huntsman for a minute or two. Just didn't pass the sniff test for me. Seemed to be way too cozy with China, for openers. imo.

Lastly, the thing that I always find very strange is advice for how a particular party can "fix" itself coming from a place / faction that wants them to fail, overtly and miserably. Just makes no sense.to me.

Biden did what he needed (beat Trump), and got what he deserved after decades of service, including passing some really significant helpful legislation. This hasn't been a placeholder term at all.  No regrets at all with him. So far, he's still more with it than Reagan was. But, said it before, time for the next Democrat to take the seat.

Of course Huntsman was cozy with China - he was the ambassador. Which made him an excellent candidate in a situation where China needed to be understood to be dealt with.

The GOP is failing on its own. The party now has no real policy (remember how they didn't even present one at the convention?) and has split into pro- and anti-Trump factions. Acknowledging that it's screwed the pooch doesn't mean the same as wanting it to happen - but I do want it to be treated like it deserves. It doesn't get to escape scrutiny just because it's an institution.

All ideas need balance and discussion (e.g., Reagan and O'Neil back in the day). But the GOP took it to obstruction and hurting the nation, and our enemies joined right in and made things even worse. If it falls apart it will certainly be replaced with something, and that might (might) be a good thing. In the meantime, people are right to vote blue whenever they can.

Over Trump?... in a heartbeat. In case you haven't noticed Biden isn't holding court with antisemite rappers and white supremacist Holocaust deniers. I didn't see Biden throwing his support behind questionable candidates in the Democratic party unlike Trump who backed Herschel Walker, Lauren Bobert, Kari Lake, & Marjorie Taylor Greene among others. You like these people kurtster? Are they role models for you? Do they represent the best examples of Republican leadership that the ex pres could find or are they just top-notch Trump ass-lickers? Rhetorical question. I read that if Trump did get re-elected, he would try and find a cabinet level job for MTG. I guess the plan would be for Trump to find even dumber people to surround himself with so that he wouldn't always be the dumbest person in the room. I wonder, after misappropriating all those secret documents, would Trump actually feel compelled to read the daily intelligence briefings or would he blow them off again?

Oh, and if Biden were to run and lose, I doubt that he would spread lies about how the election was stolen from him that tears the country apart and would try to overturn the will of the people by inciting a failed insurrection.

The choice is clear... do people what another 4 years of chaos, divisiveness, blatant lies, oppressive regime worship, selfishness, cluelessness, ignorance, personal score settling, environmental apathy, responsibility avoidance and total incompetence with Trump or something better with (basically anyone running against Trump)? Rhetorical question. We all saw the sh*t-show he presided over the first time and the damage done... nothing has changed for anyone to believe a second go-round would be any different.

On a separate note: I absolutely would love, love, love to see DeSantis run against Trump in the primary and win. I think Trump would take that even harder than his loss to Biden. A Democrat would easily slide into the presidency in that scenario as Trump would rupture the party by failing to concede and not throwing his support behind DeSantis as his pride would not allow him to do it.

He's old, but he's not incompetent.

Trump was literally incompetent, having never held public office. Sorry, but you know my "side" never has a chance at winning. Instead, I'm willing to vote for people who seem able to do the job better than the other candidate. Said it before: would've gone with Huntsman over Obama's second term since he was being hobbled by McConnell's useless "one...term...presidency!" obstructionism.  Again, Trump is a lightning rod for weirdos and the GOP needs to drop him, finally, before he does even more damage. Even now, the party is splitting over the topic of who they want for Speaker. Lack of unity, because of all the elected and constituent nut jobs (MTG etc), is going to spell the end of the party - like I predicted before the end of Bush Jr's term. We're just watching the place burn down in real time.

You're telling me that Biden is compos mentis ?  I would strongly disagree. You would vote for him again ?

so Biden is competent.  Tell me why we are being threatened with a rail strike after he told us right before the election that he had resolved the issues between the parties and that there would be no strike ?

I know your "side" never has a chance of winning.  In fact when it comes to POTUS, there are only two sides that can win.  Like it or not, it is a binary choice.

I looked at Huntsman for a minute or two.  Just didn't pass the sniff test for me.  Seemed to be way too cozy with China, for openers.  imo.

Well then, imo, Biden is a lightning rod for craziness, insanity actually and he needs to be put out to pasture via the 25th.  Instead he is still being celebrated and now the front runner on your side for 2024.
