That must have been an amazing trip! Great photos for sure.
Managed a number of trips over a couple years back then . Sure changed my life, and in a good way too. Probably threw too much caution to the wind, but what the heck was young and bullet proof. Towards the end of my travels some really awful stuff started happening to young folks all along the Asian backpackers trail when a particularly nasty Charles Manson type dude , Charles Sobhraj started his murderous doings so thought it wise to head on home.

Thanks Yep, the photos are from two different sides of the planet. The first one is reflections in a market well in Bad Canstatt in late autumn. I liked the interplay of different surfaces and reflections. The "feather" one is a sculpture in the gardens of Matakana vineyard in New Zealand. It depicts the ribs of a leaf folded to form a canoe floating on water. I turned the photo 180° in a JohRay kind of way.. what happened to him anyway?
