One night Veev called me out of the blue. It was three AM, so my first thought was, "must need bail money again, or at least a ride home from Señor Swillinger's." But I had him all wrong, and I'm man enough to admit it. Turns out he'd been trying to read a map again, and he forgot which color was "the stuff you pee on" and which was "the stuff where pee goes".

And you were supposed to chase it with a couple shots of whiskey or tequila. The sugar would offset the sleepiness, and the alcohol would put your judgement further in the back seat. Hilarity would ensue.

Buddy would like everyone to know that he once kissed Jane Fonda on the mouth. Okay, it was a Jane Fonda poster. All right, all right, settle down: you win. It was a Bob Dole poster that he wrote "Jane FONDa" on in Sharpie. And yes, it was definitely more than once.
