So what is the answer 2 the question of u
what do I look 4, what shall I do?
Which way do I turn when I'm feeling lost?
if I sell my soul, now what will it cost?
Must I become naked? No image at all?
Shall I remain upright? Or get down and crawl?

All of the questions in my life will be answered
when I decide which road 2 choose
what is the answer 2 the question of u?

u.

as talented as he was, many find his music just not on. This is okay to me, but only just.

Never heard this track before and it's pretty good, but I kinda got curious on that beat sound Is there a name for it? If not, I nominate SplattyPrinceBass
thank you RP for introducing this (for me unknown) great Prince song.
A rare guest on RP.
First Prince tune I've enjoyed.  Excellent....giving it an 8
MORE PRINCE PLEASE!!  Especially anything off Sign O' the Times!
Damn, I miss sharing the planet with this guy

I will always miss Prince.

I didn't really follow Prince's doings after "1999" and "Purple Rain" but this track makes me think that RP doesn't play enough of his stuff.
I miss Prince
At first, thought was Under the Cherry Moon.

It would be fine if there were more Prince on the RP playlist!
What a solo!! {#Music}
 True!   Add genius.

Cheesy, Awesome, Genius.

Although there are very few Prince songs that appeal to me (and this song is not one that appeals), as a musician I can acknowledge and respect his musical abilities and the ground he's broken along the way. This song is no exception — he mixes a lot of unexpected sounds to paint an interesting picture. I wouldn't buy the picture, but it's interesting to look at.

Nice point. It's refreshing to read comments that have a degree of respect and thought. Seems like there are a lot of RP folks that are real quick to make judgments on music. (especially with someone as unique and eccentric as Prince). It's easier to criticize something than to try and understand it, I guess.

Kuddos to easmann for highlighting briandel's giiving kudos to tg3k for not just saying "Prince suks, why's he being played on RP, if I wanted to hear this I'd...."

And I whole-heartedly agree with that sentiment too...although this track is growing on me a bit.

LONG LIVE RP and smart, respectful and thoughtful posters like you 3!

Sad, isn't it? The likes of Cheney, the Koch brothers, Mitch McConnell (all in their 70s and 80s) just won't die off while those who make a contribution to humanity are gone before they hit 70. In 2017, I'd swap out Steve Bannon for Cheney, though.

Good grief. How old is this?

Boring? Prince, boring? Like him or leave him - never boring.
Weird tune. Never heard it before.

Yeah baby!
Cool track, always great ears, Bill.
always dug this song. rating is crazy
SO many amazing songs by Prince - RP needs to really revisit songs for the playlist....
Prince was cool.  This song is not.

sssshhh!  don't give him the idea to start singing - that might just kill the rest of us.

rip what a loss !
...to be missed and remembered fondly.
We love you, Prince {#Cry}

A 4.7 rating average for this song is a shame, a real embarrassment. This is another innovative tune from an artist who, yes, I believe is a musical genius. Pity about this movie though......

Now tell us why.

I second that! I prefer the funkier stuff tho. I think some of the funier new material off of 3121 and Musicology would go over well here. Of course there will always be some dissenters.

It's much easier. And Prince is gash!

I agree-he's so overrated.
oh, yeah
We need more Prince on RP. Four tracks (at the time of writing) from one of the world's greatest musicians is woefully inadequate.

I like most of Prince\'s stuff, but this is formally known as bad.
Not a Prince fan based on what few tunes I\'ve heard on commercial radio over the years, and since the rock and jazz stations I listen to don\'t play Prince, I\'ve heard very little of his stuff. But this one\'s enjoyable. Nice guitar work.
I\'m definitely going to have to listen to this a few times to know what I think. There\'s so much going on, and by the way, what\'s up with those squashy sounds in the background...something like, \"poit, poit\"?
Thank you for playing Prince - I have not heard nearly enough of his stuff. I was really impressed with his Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic cd.

The Grafitti Bridge project was a hit and miss proposition - this was one of the songs that worked for me IMHO.
awesome! way to dig up the lost classics!
Irrational though it may be, but this song frightens me. Might be all that plinking in the background that just seems to unnerve me. :(

I don't know where you heard that, but I'm a musician and most of my musician friends thing he's a friggin' musical genius.

The Cross, Sign O' The Times, Housequake and If I Were Your Girlfriend are absolute classics IMO as a rock fan. Althought I know the R&B fans prefer Adore.

This song may very well be the worst tune I have heard in months. I\'d rather listen to fingernails on a chalkboard.

I\'ve been told that in the US it\'s not that \"cool\" to like prince amongst most of the musician crowd. I can\'t really see why. I\'m a musician myself although I\'m not from the US (I\'ve been put through US international schools though). It\'s not like Prince is my alltime favorite artist or anything and I don\'t always dig his sexually oriented lyrics and attitude but he\'s definitely done some very cool stuff musically IMO. He\'s got some very groovy tunes.

Wow! Great song. I am truly amazed at the reaction of most RP listeners to Prince. There is absolutely no one in music today that comes close to his musical genius.
Garbage
