I am the lightning
I am the heat
I am the rain
Rain (reign) all day
I am the rain
I'm gonna reign this way again
I am the rain

I am the spy
Before the blade
I am the raindrop out at sea
I cause the ripples that become the crashing waves
I am the rain
Rain (reign) all day
I am the rain

You thought a different day had come
A day you thought the earth was done
And if you could have said it all
I know you would have said it all

I am the rain
I'm gonna reign this way again
I am the rain
Rain (reign) all day

You thought a different day had come
A day you thought the earth was done
I am the rain
And if you could have said it all
I know you would have said it all
I am the rain

16 year old me would think those lyrics are quite profound, but now that I'm double that age, let me just say - not so much
He is Elaine.  I am Henry!
...looks at hands...
That percussion carries the load.
Never heard this before... It's rare that a first time listen to a song captivates me so much.  So unique, so good.
Fantastic vocals on a fantastic track, including a fantastic drummer.
Ian Brown - from the Stone Roses on vocals here. He has a fantasticly unique voice...  Perhaps not a lot of range but he's good and he has a vibe.
No comment for five months?!? Sheesh! Great stuff Bill! Thank you!
Stone Roses anyone?

Yup. Unkle does a great remix of F.E.A.R.
Je découvre ce groupe grâce à RP, et j’adore.....
So good to hear UNKLE and thank you Bill and Rebecca for introducing me to them years ago, I cant remember when...
Ian Brown on vocals absolutely brilliant love Unkle

That's him singing on this track.

can I get an Amen (break)?
I love Unkle, thanks RP for turning me on to them....now just wish James Lavelle would tour in the US!
It is so cool to see comments from 9 years ago! I can't believe that I found "RP" 14 Years ago. It's been my home since then. I'm so Thankful. BTW this Unkle song is pretty cool and the album art is really great.

Two month later PSD sends me here again. Still a good tune.

More Unkle to the people.

Very cool tune - grateful for PSD feature seeing as this hasn't been played since 2011! What's THAT about?  Great to hear it today!

My  thought exactly. Thanks PSD.

I must disagree. This song rocks.. I love the way it flows and builds...major 10 for me! {#Dancingbanana}

This song is perfectly coinciding with the caffeine kicking in!
I am giving this a 5 because every time I hear anything from this album it reminds me of how much better the first one was...
Tune!
Oh, this totally sucks!
UNKLE's still decent, but just not the same without DJ Shadow.
Shades of Chemical Brothers?

Yup!  {#Yell}Unkle!

I like Ian Brown, but not this song.{#No}

Unkle, do you think you can just waltz in here with your fancy production, breakneck beats, cool samples, and with Ian Brown from the Stone Roses singing and just make yourself at home? Another one that slipped under my radar. Thanks Mr. Bill{#Good-vibes}
Ian Brown. Understated and excellent!
I really like the percussion on this tune! {#Drummer}
Wow!
From Amon Tobin to Unkle!
Very impressive RP.
I lost touch with Unkle by the time of this album, but hearing it now on RP years later, it has new life for me.
I have some earlier Unkle stuff on MoWax, which ain't anything like this tune.
Hearing this song for the first time (right now on RP) i thought it was a current rock band with great electronic touches.
And then to go check the playlist and find its Unkle (right after a Amon tune no less).
Gonna have to check out the full album now. Cool.
Thanks again RP!

First time hearing this, and I really like it. I need to check out more of Unkle's stuff...I'm really only familiar with "Rabbit In Your Headlights", which I like.

Hearing UNKLE's Reign and spazming from pleasure is one thing but hearing AND seeing the whole UNKLE Live band live is... I'm lost for words here, you have to experience it yourselves, it is something unforgettable.
Go Shadow! Go Shadow !
what are those strings sampled from ?
WHEEEEE!

{#Dancingbanana_2}
Ian Brown has a very distinct voice. For me and for all other orphans of Stone Roses, this song Beats The Drum!!
niiiicccccceeeeeee...... /bobs head
DANCING!

Get's a solid 9 from me!!
Very nice
I think it's the Evil Nine remix of this that totally kicks ass... check it out!
I always have had a soft spot for Ian Brown's thick Mancunian banter. Together with James Lavelle's beats and that heavenly string section, it is awesome!
I miss my Unkle t-shirt... dammit! She had to take it with her...
Reminicent of both Propellerheads and Hooverphonic. Great beat!
STILL DANCING!
Oooh. Something new? Haven't heard this in years of listening to RP. Had to turn the volume up and start tapping the desktop, nodding head, jiggling feet.

Ian Brown's voice is so perfect for electronica. James Lavel rocks. Shame Shadow is no longer involved with UNKLE but this album flows a bit better than psyence fiction.
I agree, i think UNKLE's strength is it's great use of guest vocalists (Thom Yorke, Ian Astbury, 3D). Chemical Brothers have also figured that out.
Never heard this cut. Verrruh nice!
that banana really has some moves
Wow what is this? Groovalicious...
No time to chat. Too busy dancing.
Chatty fella, aren't you.
Great!
It's on again!
Me too. I can\'t sit still when I hear this.
Gotta get this CD!
me likes funky baseline and trippy tracks with Ian's smooth vocals...could have beenn a pre-Second Coming track...
Oooo I haven never heard this original mix.
An absolutely fantastic album. I'd like to hear 'Invasion' and 'What You Are to Me' more often, as well.
Nice. Can we hear the original version too?

Really like "In a State," the other song of this CD that gets airplay here. This is very nice as well. May have to check out the entire CD....
I agree.
Nice tune, growing on me
I had to up this from a 6 to a 7 when I finally found the time to crank up the volume. This sounds excellent. An album I will certainly go hunting for.

Had to look and see who this was...something new on RP and Unkle too! Thumbs up!

Meh. Not bad, but not great either. If I hear it again, I may like it more, but too soon to tell.
