this is very nice.  very, very nice indeed.
Just saw that the band included  a link below for a free download of the album.  Will do that soon as I get home!
Here are the lyrics:

In the darkness you came after me
but i was not at the point of leaving
both of us have moved away
from the morning into the evening

and the sky is darker than before
and the words mean nothing anymore

in the bright lights you blinded me
but i was not ready to be seen
you're eager to illuminate all the corners
full of secrets and dreams

and the spaces between us recede
and the daylight shows the reasons to believe
and the sky is darker than before
and the words mean nothing anymore

and the spaces between us recede
and the daylight shows the reasons to believe
and the sky is darker than before
and the words mean nothing anymore

Somehow this reminds me of the music that plays during the opening credits of the mini-series 'Bloodline'. The story takes place in the Florida Keys and that 2 minute sequence before each chapter, both visually and musically, is the most haunting and beautifully edited openings for a TV series I can remember.
Good Tune! I never heard of them before. Thank You RP!
Vision Thing's website at Folking.com:

Vision Thing
The singer, and even the song itself, reminds me of Pete Townsend, especially his solo album "Who Came First." I like its ethereal quality.

Somewhat reminiscent of the 1970s band Klaatu, even the cover art. Very nice, indeed.

Anyone can start a Wikipedia page.
Weirdness with this song, as it's almost 95% Book of Fears' The Water Lets You In (theme song for Netflix's Bloodline). If I wasn't so lazy I'd go look up the various members of various bands to see if someone recycled this into The Water Lets You In. But I gotta go float away to some Darlingside now.

Still holds up really well Paul, after all these years. Struck gold on this one mate.
This is a nice enough song... but when I see/hear "Vision Thing" I want a big fat loud helping of the Sisters of Mercy!

Damn, whew, I thought for a second I was hearing a super-weirdly-calm version of Fire Woman by the Cult. Need more coffee right now.
So nice to hear this.

pah ;)

I was hearing a little early Traffic as well. Some Winwood influence on the vocals.
Wow this is really retro sounding... A lot of influences here, Led Zeppelin, Pentangle, etc.

Hi Scott me owd mate.

Things are moving quickly in the Vision Thing camp, we've got a full band together now and will be going into the studio in a few months to complete our first proper band album.

Hopefully we can continue the success we've experienced with the stuff Pete and Myself recorded in the bigger setting and more accessible to people via live gigs, live radio play and fully recorded albums.

We're pretty close to gigging and once we're rolling we'll get some stuff on Itunes and Amazon for people if  they wish to purchase.

I'll keep you all posted with the progress as it happens.

I totally dig this song, it is great to see artists using Radioparadise as a way to introduce their music.

Cost in Time is the issue really, then add onto that postage as its mostly overseas and paypal costs and cds inlays cases, packaging and in the end we CBA :)

You can only make money on it if people are actually buying it.  Otherwise, you take a loss.

Awesome!!!! Very impressed!!!! I clicked on to rate this song, which I don't do all that often, and only do to songs I especially like.
I _really_ appreciate the chilly voice and the mood that comes along with (and not only) this song. Their other works are worth listening to!
