I love this song, had it as my ring-tone for a while (the beginning). The song has a lot to like: the singer can really sing, the string instruments are also well done, and I reject the idea that "detached" sounding vocals are bad thusly:

I have found a new torture method for my cat when I wanna get rid of him; loop this song and lock him in the room for an hour! It will take him years to recover and he will avoid me like the plague, giving me some free space from constantly being hounded for tuna! Thank you! This song is one of the most awful noises I have ever heard!
