This guy is awesome. Saw him in the Jazz Lab at the Montreux Jazz festival back in 2017 and he stole the show, great talent! Very humble young man from Brighton.

Oh, it's the toilet paper TV advertisement. (He should have never sold the rights to them, but I guess the money was too good.)
Pretty decent song.
However -- the faint whooping in the background gets pretty annoying. It feels like it was shoehorned in there by some record producer that decided a famous sample needed to be added to appeal to the hip hop crowd.

I enjoy listening to it - but would not want it on high rotation, if that was the case I would get probably get sick of it.

I do remember the days before BillG (ingeniously) added the PSD button and I think we have the same percentage of comments "this song sucks, play something else" as before...I think the only thing that's gone up is the number of replies "PSD you idiot!" or the similar.
All that said...I think this is a great track for 2017; a bit harsh sounding in the production, has a good Texas sound to it....so yeah...I'm at an 8 right now.
**EDIT** Well after hearing this track several times, and upping my 8 to a 9, I'm taking it back to the 8. I still like this track, and I'm really impressed by the idea of British hip-hop. I think I would like this better if it were "blues-hop" or something like that....the real authentic Texas sound I mentioned last month. I am not decreasing my rating because of any "pop" influence, although I am prone to not liking what's popular at the time. For me, I'll need to hear some more Rag'n'Bone Man, possibly I'll get the entire album for those party nights with friends. LLRP!!

I have no idea who the singer or the band are.
First time I heard this was on RP, and it drew my attention because it's quite a powerful voice.
Lyrics are a bit repetitive and simple, but, maybe because English is not my native language I can listen to it like another musical instrument. I don't watch TV, nor do I listen to the FM. Well, I do sometimes, but in a country where almost no foreign music is played. "Foreign" being among other languages, English songs. :)
I'm a Radiohead listener, like Thome Yorke voice very much. I was trying to imagine these two voices, opposite in every aspect, singing together.
Probably impossible, if I understand the comments below emphasizing on this band being somewhat commercial. Not exactly Thome Yorke cup of tea.
Although, in a sense, nothing published escapes commercial, doesn't it?

I generally don't like music that sounds like this, but there's something compelling about his voice—it's got that "old soul" quality.

All that said...I think this is a great track for 2017; a bit harsh sounding in the production, has a good Texas sound to it....so yeah...I'm at an 8 right now.
**EDIT** Well after hearing this track several times, and upping my 8 to a 9, I'm taking it back to the 8. I still like this track, and I'm really impressed by the idea of British hip-hop. I think I would like this better if it were "blues-hop" or something like that....the real authentic Texas sound I mentioned last month. I am not decreasing my rating because of any "pop" influence, although I am prone to not liking what's popular at the time. For me, I'll need to hear some more Rag'n'Bone Man, possibly I'll get the entire album for those party nights with friends. LLRP!!

UPDATE: The song is now being used in an ad for toilet paper.
