Just FYI about the background of this tune, it appears it's a sort of Australian aboriginal fusion song.  Some info directly from Duplessy's YouTube channel, where a video of this song appears to have the people described here:

We acknowledge the Waljen People of the Wangkatha Nation, who is one of the many Aboriginal, First Nations that make up the continent of Australia. We acknowledge Tribal Ancestors who gave culture and language, which we hold onto today and in the future.

Thank You for the info!
I love pretty much everything this guy does.

Out of sheer curiosity, what is that whistling/humming sound Duplessy makes? I presume it's neither an instrument nor throat-singing?

Mongolian throat singing : )

Hey! I worked at a commercial radio station* doing the morning show!

*Which is why I always would decompress with RP. I just love Duplessy's work!

Was it really soul sucking

Overtone singing
Quite the coincidence I share the same birthday with the last two artists :)

I have loved world for decades. I love when Bill plays world music. But not this guy. Ponderous without much swing. Maybe once every 3 years?

I agree - this is kinda turgid. Play Oliver Mtukudzi.

If love to know the words, but I’m fearful it will distract from my current joy hearing this. But I have decided I will find the words so my ignorant western world doesn’t stay that way …. I’ll be in touch folks xxx
Tranquil splendour, enhanced by strong spirits. This sends our inner hearts refreshed ~ does it not
I loved when the two little fairy twins sang this to summon Mothra.

Eclecticism in a box and Platonic ideals with a bow on it! Guy always makes one think about what music can be.

Me likee much-o.

Opens with a 7 from South Billyburg.
This song encapsulates RP to me.  A song which I thoroughly enjoy and that which I would never come across otherwise.  Cheers to RP.
The polyphonic overtone vocals in his work are outstanding. Truly incredible.

You won't believe how good you'll feel when you turn it right off.

I really like this :)
My 'off-the-bat' rating on this is a 7, not a 6 like default, simply because I'm a fan of 3 of Mathias' tracks played here, might stay, might +1, might -1, who knows....what I know is that I love WORLD music and RP...so Long Live RP and World Music!!
This followed by Vivaldi 4 Seasons - To the person reading this in 2030: This is how Bill and RP helped me through the COVID-19 pandemic.
What's to hate?

Yah but that's RP for you. Bill at his best, showing us all what music is all about.

Thanks Bill and Rebecca to release !

Long live Radio Paradise !
