 I don't Just downloaded the app a couple of nights ago. No wi-fi out here. Can't get it to stay connected for more than 30 seconds at a time.

With the caveat that I do not do any of this fancy telephony you're talking about, The cache, as I understand it, you load up just before you lose the connection, then walk out of the house and it will continue playing for up to 12 hours. If you're offline for 12 hours an 1 minute, the cache will be gone, whether you're listening or not. If, instead, you walk back into the house after being offline for only 11 hours, you'll pick up the live stream, the cache may (?) reload at that point and you can leave again for another 12 hours, and all during this time, the music will not have stopped. At any time while listening to the cached stream, you will be more or less in sync with the music that connected people are hearing. For your purposes, it sounds as tho this will be perfect.

I listen to RadioParadise a lot and would like to be able to use a smart phone while not connected by wifi (I use the phone at night while connected to wifi). Does anyone know how much data per hour the stream would be? Also, I have read that it is possible to cache hours of the stream by wifi and be able to use it when not connected. Is this just done by pausing for hours and then playing?
