Polling in Russia is difficult, and some of Putin's popularity may have dissolved recently... but it remains very high....70%-90% approval ratings by many estimates. Rural areas and small towns (which is a lot in an 11-time zone country) have very strong support for him.

I suspect that those are not the Russians who are listening to Radio Paradise.
